God, Faith & us

Oct 2, 2008: 150 dead in the stampede in the Mehrana fort in Rajasthan the crowd had gather to go to Chaminda Devi Temple all were mostly youth.
Aug 3 , 2008: 162 people had been killed in Nanda Devi temple stampede in Himachal Pradesh as everyone tried to rush in as door was opened at dawn.
Count of such incidences will go on as every state has one or the other local or grand level festival every week or rather on every day as a part of diverse and multi faceted culture we sport.
Believing in God and putting Faith in almighty always has been a issue of debate and it will be so as there will be few of us who will be atheist always. I don’t want to indulge into existence or non existence. But to what extent are we dragging Gods existence and on the name of faith what are we doing.
I have few simple questions which I like to be answered .Clearly and for sure these are mine personal opinion shared on a forum like this for validation.
How important is it to take ‘Darshan’ on a particular day or a particular time?
Will God not give blessings to those who miss this time or day?
How beneficial is it to stand in rows for hours to take ‘ Darshan’ ?
Yeah, of course as it’s what I feel as said above, but I would like to have your views on this .
In a period when our society is facing a big threat and trouble from terrorism and lot of natural calamities as a natural human tendency we feel to be driven towards almighty power. In a city like Mumbai which we may point out for westernizing to the maximum extent but you will be surprised to see and know that the Sidhivinayak Temple has a huge queue for every Tuesday, Weekends and on chaturthis. This crowed compromises of all from all high heeled miniskirt gals to completely traditional sari wearing ladies. But still the question remains is it necessary to spend so much time in queues as you can seek blessings from just lowering your head where ever you are ,isn’t it ?
I feel very much amazed when I see youth or rather working class spending such time in a activity which can be made not so time consuming if we have faith that he (God ) is every were.
Till now some might have stated feeling I am tending towards Atheism but no , let me tell you I go to Temple daily while going to my place , I just lower my head from outside and move. I have faith that he understands your feelings as you are after all his creation.

Coming back to original topic of who is responsible for incidences mentioned at top.
We, System or God .
Certainly not God as he never even expects from you to come and see him.
System, it has its own limitation of resources’ by saying so I know am giving excuse on systems behalf but ultimately who runs the system WE , so it comes down to us how to control such incidence and save precious human lives. Many of these might have come to thank God for fulfillment of a dream of son/daughter or any other but could not return themselves back.
Compensations are given but these can never compensate the loss faced by there family.
We are following faith at the cost of what needs to be given a thought.
God wants you to be happy and wants to make those who are affected by you to make them happy by your deeds is what I perceive. We going to him is our wish and not his demand. But what good are we doing by not doing any constructive thing and spending time in cue and wasting a resource precious as a gem that’s human energy.
Having faith is good it makes you work may it be on God or your work you should or rather you must have it but taking it to what extent is the core.
Taking it further this faith of ours can be utilized by anti social elements to stir our emotions and unnecessarily cause society and ultimately us cause to face its brunt. Our emotions related to faith are so boiling always that it needs a triggered. We lose all our senses and volcano of violence erupts. I think there is no need to sight an example for this. We all must have face a brunt of it some time in our life.
Is this right what we do, how we react?
These are the questions to be answered for an individual not for me.
